Stefan Dürr

Managing Partner and CEO

Stefan Dürr has been Managing Partner and CEO of Ekosem-Agrar GmbH, Walldorf, since 1993 as well as President of the Russian subsidiary, Ekoniva.

Stefan Dürr studied geo-ecology at Bayreuth University and was the first Western European trainee to go to Russia at the age of 25. In 1994, with support from the Federal Agriculture Ministry, he initiated the German-Russian Dialogue on Agricultural Policy, whose project coordinator he still is. He also acted as a consultant to agricultural committees of the Federation Council and the Duma of the Russian Federation. In 1998, he started trading agricultural machinery and turned EkonivaTechnika, which has been spun off in the meantime, into the market leader of the sector. In 2002, Stefan Dürr acquired his first farming operation. Today, the company manages 173,000 hectares at six locations and is one of the leading agricultural enterprises in Russia.  

In 2009, Stefan Dürr was awarded the Cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany in recognition of his outstanding contributions to establishing and fostering German-Russian relationships in the agricultural sector.

Wolfgang Bläsi

Managing Director and CFO

Wolfgang Bläsi has been CFO of Ekosem-Agrar GmbH since March 2010 and is also a member of the management. His responsibilities include the preparation of the financial statements to IFRS, corporate finance and legal restructuring. Up to 2009, he was CFO of KTG Agrar AG, a listed German joint stock corporation. Before joining the agricultural enterprise, Wolfgang Bläsi was Managing Partner of management consultancy ProClion GmbH, which focuses on project developments in the renewable energy sector. He began his professional career at Novasoft AG, where he headed the Accounting and Communications departments for about eight years and later took up the position of CFO. He was also instrumental in preparing the company’s IPO. Wolfgang Bläsi completed vocational training in financial administration and graduated with distinction in technical business management as “Diplom-Betriebswirt (FH)”.

Tatiana V. Burchovetskaja

CFO of Ekoniva

Tatiana Burchovetskaja looks back on long-standing experience in the financial sector. She is CFO of Ekoniva, the company’s subsidiary. Tatiana Burchovetskaja began her professional career as accountant and later worked as Vice Director General of Finance of Ekoniva-Tschernosemie (agricultural machinery trading). She completed her studies of accounting and audit at the Voronezh State University of Agriculture and completed her postgraduate studies with an academic degree in economic sciences.

Juri W. Vasjukov

Vice Director General and Head of Production of Ekoniva

Juri W Vasjukov acts as General Director and Head of Production of the subsidiary Ekoniva and as Managing Director of Ekoniva-Semena, the subsidiary handling the seeds business. He has held a variety of positions within the group and can draw on many years of experience in the agricultural sector. During the first ten years of his professional career he worked as head of the academic-organisational department of the A.T. Bolotov foundation and as academic staff member and as an agricultural scientist at NPO Podmoskovie. Juri W. Vasjukov is a graduate of the Timirjasev agricultural academy and completed his postgraduate studies with a thesis on the subject of “selection and seed growing”, which earned him an academic degree in agricultural sciences.
