Meat Production

Meat Production is the smallest division and currently contributes less than 5 percent to sales. The herd is still at an early stage. The objective is to expand meat production and thereby to be instrumental in building the as yet underdeveloped market for premium beef in Russia in the coming years.

Ekosem-Agrar mainly uses the well-know Simmental, Hereford and Angus breeds for beef production. We breed our own stock for fattening. German veterinarians, or veterinarians trained in Germany, watch over the health of the animals. The bulk of our premium beef is sold through the Domodedovo abattoir near Moscow.
