Kaluga

The Group’s site near the city of Kaluga has been in operation since 2006 and is primarily important because of its proximity to Moscow. This operation mainly produces fresh milk for the Russian capital. A total of 2,836 cattle, including 1,112 dairy cows, are kept at this recognised breeding centre for Swiss Brown cattle. Almost 11,300 hectares of land are used to grow potatoes, grain and fodder crops. 275 people are employed in Kaluga.
