Positioned for growth

Over the past five years, Ekosem-Agrar has invested more than EUR 100 million in new farmland, expanded its locations and built new housing for its 36,500 cattle. Today, Ekosem-Agrar is one of the largest dairy and seed producers in Russia. In the financial year 2010/2011 (ended September 30th), the company generated a total output of approx. EUR 81 million. Annual dairy production rose by 70% to 50 million litres, while the total agricultural land increased by 35,000 hectares to 160,000 hectares (thereof 120,000 of arable land). The 2011 harvest saw strong growth, with Ekosem-Agrar’s harvests of sugar beet, maize, soybeans and fodder crop hitting new records.

The Group remains positioned for growth also in future.
