At the beginning of August, the EkoNiva education project "ZooVet" opened its doors to graduates of Russian agricultural universities in the regions of Ryazan and Orenburg.
The new cattle breeding complexes "Nesterovo" and "Kursk Vasilyevka" are for several months a place of practical training for 16 graduates of agricultural universities of the Russian Federation.
Young professionals take part in the educational project and complete internships in the fields of veterinary medicine and animal breeding. "ZooVet" stands for agricultural studies in animal production and veterinary medicine.
The program consists of a series of theoretical and practical courses on modern animal husbandry technologies used in EkoNiva companies. Future veterinarians and breeding experts will gain extensive knowledge, valuable experience and their performance will be rewarded with an attractive salary.
"The main goal of the project is to train personnel and keep them employed at EkoNiva's production sites," says Elena Vasilevskaya, HR Manager at EkoNiva.
The project is also being successfully implemented in the Voronezh, Kaluga and Novosibirsk regions. Over the past four years, more than 250 people have participated in ZooVet, most of whom now work successfully in the company's dairy cow facilities.
